A range of “Cards for a Good Cause” is now on sale at the Ilkley Visitor Information Center.

The non-profit organization always offers a wide selection of charity Christmas cards with the proceeds going to local and national charities. In the past 10 years alone they have raised over £ 40million for charity.

Cards for Good Causes supports many charities including Cancer Research UK, Barnardo’s, Alzheimer’s Society and RNLI. Buyers can choose from hundreds of different Christmas card designs. After being unable to trade with Ilkley last year due to Covid-19 restrictions, the cards have now returned to the Ilkley Visitor Information Center and are already proving popular.

The Ilkley Tourist Information Center is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cards will be on sale until Christmas Eve.

The Tourist Information Center also has a range of local and Yorkshire themed gifts and is also a dealer of the Ilkley Manor House Advent Calendar. You will also find details on upcoming events and activities in and around Ilkley, as well as a reservation service for Bradford theaters including Kings Hall, Ilkley as well as the Alhambra and St George’s Hall in Bradford. .

Councilor Sarah Ferriby, executive member of the Bradford Council for Healthy People and Places, said: “Whether you like choosing your cards for the charity they support or their festive design, there is something for everyone.

“When you buy these cards you know that 70 pence out of every pound goes to support the chosen charity.

“These cards are always very popular, so be sure to pick up your favorites before they run out.

“Our Visitor Information Centers always have a wide range of gift items that make great Christmas presents.”
