January 17, 2022 – The International Association of Tourist Information Providers has announced the election of DeAnne Mitchell of the Official Savannah Guides as President for 2022.Visitor International is a non-profit organization whose member companies around the world specialize in providing customer information to visitors. during their stay in their destination, to guide them towards wonderful experiences.
As a lifelong Savannah resident, DeAnne Mitchell has a natural ability to personalize traveler experiences, making her the premier source of local visitor information. She leads a team of more twenty people through two different entities, Official Guides of Savannah and Convention Consultants, which together provide a comprehensive menu of services to the local hospitality industry including the provision of bespoke private tours for visitors to our region. In 1995, DeAnne began her entrepreneurial journey in event and destination management by joining her mother’s company.. She has since expanded her team and added unique and creative ways to provide her clients with distribution and display services for their printed materials. More recently, DeAnne has developed two new client offerings by adding mobile marketing services and a web-accessible virtual brochure rack.
