ABU DHABI, 17th September, 2022 (WAM) — The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) have announced ‘NBA District’, an immersive and interactive fan event , in collaboration with The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022 will be held at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi from October 5-9, 2022.
The 2022 NBA Abu Dhabi Games will feature the Atlanta Hawks and 2021 NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks playing two pre-season games at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, October 6 and Saturday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m., marking the league. first matches in the United Arab Emirates and the Persian Gulf.
NBA District will showcase music, media and art associated with NBA culture. Fans will be able to chat with NBA personalities from around the world, watch authentic NBA entertainment, enjoy hands-on basketball activities, and purchase limited-edition NBA merchandise.
The collaboration sees DCT Abu Dhabi, as part of “Visit Abu Dhabi”, the UAE capital’s tourism promotion initiative, serve as the NBA’s Official Tourism Partner in the Middle East, North Africa, in Europe and China.
