Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina footballer Lionel Messi has arrived in Jeddah after the Saudi Tourism Authority announced him as its new official brand ambassador.
I am happy to welcome Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia. We are delighted that you are exploring the treasures of the Red Sea, the season of Jeddah and our ancient history.
This is not his first visit to the Kingdom and it will not be the last! @VisitSaudiNow pic.twitter.com/RDfxFIRjrt

“I am delighted to welcome Lionel Messi to Saudi Arabia. We are delighted that you are exploring the treasure of the Red Sea, the Jeddah season and our ancient history. This is not his first visit to the Kingdom and it will not be not the last,” Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb tweeted.
The 34-year-old footballer arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday accompanied by a group of friends.
This is Messi’s fourth visit to Saudi Arabia after leading his country in a friendly against the country’s national team at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh in 2011, before attending the Super Classico Cup between Brazil and Argentina, also in Riyadh.
