OTOAI hosts ‘Members Meeting’ in Mumbai in partnership with Saudi Tourism Authority

In collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority, the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) organized a “Members Meet” on August 20, 2022 at Sofitel, BKC, Mumbai. The event, which attracted up to 200 members, proved to be a great opportunity for OTOAl members to learn more about “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” as a developing tourist destination and to engage in quality networking with other members of the travel industry.

The Saudi Tourism Authority India team provided strong support for the event, showcasing the destination with all new perspectives on the Kingdom and educating the travel community on many facets of Saudi culture, adventure, heritage, gastronomy and much more. Saudi Arabia has immense potential to attract tourists in the coming years and it has some upcoming mega projects like Red Sea and Amaala in 2023.

The presentation of the destination was followed by an interesting question-and-answer session followed by an interactive quiz. It was a great networking evening, attended by senior members of the Mumbai travel fraternity.

The Saudi Tourism Authority has always been a religious destination for Indians, but now it has become a brilliant tourist destination in the Middle East region. We are pleased with our partnership with Saudi Arabia and the success of the event proved that it was indeed a mutually beneficial partnership.
