Travel Guides returns to Channel Nine and 9 Now

Nine’s family travel show, travel guides returns to screens for a fifth season from Wednesday March 30 at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 9 and 9 Now.

Narrated by an Australian comedian Dennis Scott, the all-new season will feature highly rated travel reviews from previous seasons.

The return to screens is the adorable French family, twin cowgirls Stack and Emailposh retirees Kevin and Janetbest buds Kev, Dorian and tengand travel addicts and longtime couple Mast and Brett.

In the new season, travel guides hit the road for an oversized two-week USA road trip, taking them through Texas and the Deep South for a big taste of big hats, big portions and big wheels.

Guides then depart to traverse the Great Land of South Australia taking in the beauty of the Twelve Apostles, the wilderness of Fraser Island and the sparkles of Noosa, the tall ships of Sydney Harbour, swimming with dolphins at the off the coast of Western Australia, and the delights of the Great Ocean Road on a week-long family road trip that includes a taste of Sovereign Hill in beautiful Ballarat.

They then venture off the beaten track into the South Australian outback, exploring the mighty Murray River and the fantastic Flinders Ranges, while soaking up the best bits of Brisbane – from fine dining to adventure park thrills – for an activity-packed week based at the river town vacation hotspot.

In every episode of travel guides, all five groups of reviewers visit the same location for the same vacation week, reviewing cuisine, accommodations, activities and sights.

Opinions always diverge, leading to brutally honest and often outrageous reviews, as our guides explain exactly how they see it and rate every stay out of five stars.

Travel Guides returns Wednesday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 9 and 9 Now.
