The PGA Tour is in the Arizona desert for the 2022 WM Phoenix Open this week.

Defending champ Brooks Koepka briefly held the first round lead at 5 under but was passed by KH Lee, who signed for a 6 under 65. Rookie Sahith Theegala then moved to the top of the standings at 7 under thanks to a four-game birdie streak numbers 13-16 Thursday at TPC Scottsdale.

Before the first round could be completed, play was suspended for darkness at 6:23 p.m. local time (8:23 p.m. ET). Those who didn’t finish will be back in position at 8am local time for the restart. The schedule for the second round remains unchanged.
